Guest Policy

General Terms and Conditions :

All guests must be of at least 18 years of age to be able to check in at the Hostel. Guests carrying Local IDs or local residents will not be permitted to check in at the Hostel.

Reception closes at 00:00 Hours. However, If you are coming late, make sure to give us a call before arriving at the property. Letting us know in prior helps us to be prepared to welcome you.

It is mandatory for guests to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in. According to government regulations, a valid Photo ID has to be carried by every person staying at the hostel.

The identification proofs accepted are Passport, Aadhar Card, Driving License and Voter ID card. PAN Card is not accepted as a valid ID Card. Guests carrying Local IDs will not be allowed admission.

HOSHTEL99 is more appreciative of solo travellers and young backpackers hence it isn’t recommended for the family to stay with us. In case you are travelling with a family, a hotel would be more suitable for your needs.

Advance taken at the time of reservations is strictly non-refundable. The property might request a prepayment at any time after the reservation if booked via channels/website that has "Pay at Property" policy.

Non-resident guests are not allowed inside the rooms. In case you want to invite someone, you can meet with them in the common area. Visitor Timing : till 19:00.

We do not guarantee accommodation in the same dorm room in case you happen to be traveling in a group or 3-4 people together.

Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings. Hoshtel99 isn’t responsible for your belongings in case of theft or loss.

We have a cafeteria at the property. Outside food is not allowed inside the property.

Pets are allowed (only in case the reservation is in a Private Room) inside the property at an extra charge of 500 Rs.

Should any action by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the Hostel, or if any inappropriate behaviour is brought to the attention of the hostel, the hostel reserves the right, after the allegations have been investigated, to take action against the guest.

Curfew Timing : 01:00 AM - 06:00 AM. To maintain a silent atmosphere inside the Dorm post 00:00, we have implemented a curfew system to avoid any disturbances to our guests inside the Dorm. However, we understand that sometimes we do get late and have some unavoidable late night plans, we too take that into consideration and allow entry during curfew hours only if it has been pre-approved by the in-house manager.

BOOKING EXTENSION POLICY :

Extension of the stay is subject to availability.
We might not be able to offer extension of stay at the same tariff. Room/Dorm rates may be different from the rates at which the rooms were initially booked.

CANCELLATION POLICY :

The advance taken at the time of reservation is strictly non-refundable.
If any booking amount is remaining, full payment upon arrival is required.
In case of over the phone booking, the booking is also non-refundable. As we are blocking your bed/room as per your request, you can only amend the reservation to extend but cannot shorten your stay.

GROUP POLICY :

Before proceeding with a group booking, please note, HOSHTEL99 does not allow Group stays beyond 10 people (even if the bookings are made in multiple installments, through any booking platform). A minimum of 3 Night is required for the stay for bookings made for 8 or more people.

In case of a group of 4 or more, you can be purposefully allotted different dorm rooms.

Any booking qualifying as group booking (booking of 4 or more people) is a non-refundable cancellation policy and a link will be sent out you to make the payment in advance.

If the group behavior is deemed unfit at the property, the HOSHTEL99 Property Manager, upon subjective evaluation, retains the full right to take required action which may also result in an on-spot cancellation without refunds.

Any group bookings which has not been authorized in advance, or has been made by several individuals/ separate bookings to make it appear as though it is not a group can be cancelled or denied at any time in advance or on arrival.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT POLICY :

Early Check-In and Late Check-Out is subject to availability and discretion of the property.

You can feel free to lounge around in the common areas or engage yourself in the various activities that take place at our hostel during this time. Latest a checking out guest can stay inside the premise is till 20:00 [08:00 PM].

By choosing to stay/book at our property, you automatically and unconditionally acknowledge and accept the following:

Hoshtel99 maintains a welcoming and caring environment for all its guests. However, it's important to note that any financial transactions conducted between guests are considered personal and private matters. While we treat all guests with respect and care, this should not be misconstrued as a blanket endorsement of trust of any guest in any situation. We want to emphasize that Hoshtel99 cannot assume responsibility or liability for any financial transactions, agreements, or disputes that may arise between guests. We encourage all guests to exercise discretion and caution when engaging in financial interactions with others during their stay.

The Hoshtel99 management places utmost importance on the safety and security of all guests. However, it is essential to acknowledge that staying in a shared environment requires a certain level of personal responsibility. While we take all necessary precautions to maintain a secure atmosphere, the hostel cannot be held accountable for any instances of theft or mishap involving guests' belongings. We strongly advise all guests to exercise caution and refrain from leaving their personal items unattended in all areas. By adhering to these guidelines, we can collectively contribute to a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone.

You have given us permission to monitor the common areas and other areas by CCTV except the bedrooms and bathrooms for your own safety.

Given permission to HOSHTEL99 to videography/photography and store stills/videos captured on the CCTV. We can also use photographs or videos captured within the HOSHTEL99 premises as exclusive HOSHTEL99 promotional material and not limited to posters, posts, stories on any physical or social media platforms.
